60" is too long for the engine bay. Is there any other smaller caterpillar engines that are mechanical and have a decent output?- 64ford2

1955 f350 cat build
I have a 1955 Ford on a 87 f350 dually frame I am looking at putting a caterpillar 3306 in the truck but I can't seem to find the length of the engine. I am open to suggestions about other caterpillar engines to put in the truck.- 64ford2

6.9idi clutch
I have a 1987 6.9idi coming out of a f350 with a 4speed going into a, 1987 f250 with a zf5. My question is 4speed has a solid flywheel and a 12in clutch, the 5speed has a dual mass flywheel and a 11in clutch. Is there any way to put the solid flywheel with the zf5?- 64ford2
