I saved the diagnostics as a pdf and attached it. Hopefully you can open it. It does include checking all of the resistance and voltages from the slip ring. They are all within specs. So unless the diagnostics are missing one or more checks, I am suspecting the amplifier module. So if there is a...- Docktergreg

Battery voltage increase
I was trying to diagnose the winch on my 1992 f350. Since I only have 2 hands, I used a jumper wire with alligator clips to connect the ground lead from the multimeter to ground on the winch.
