FS: 7.3 IDI Turbo engine, NOS Radiator, Jump Seat set from 89 F250

Yes every last bolt, rod, line, clamp, harness and pulley is included. I would not expect the fuel pump or turbos to work, at least not well, these are cores. Same for the motor.

FS: 7.3 IDI Turbo engine, NOS Radiator, Jump Seat set from 89 F250

The biggest surprise was I have 2 turbos, I forgot that I was going to just turbo the na engine before this one came up so I have everything needed for a factory turbo. I have much more pics on the engine. Heads look pretty good, no cracks in the pre chambers. This engine I was told ran, I never...

FS: 7.3 IDI Turbo engine, NOS Radiator, Jump Seat set from 89 F250

Jump seat set includes seats, side trim, brackets, straps, seat belts, no bolts or screws unfortunately. One seat belt is missing the male end of the buckle and I got the truck that way and can’t explain how that happened $150.

FS: 7.3 IDI Turbo engine, NOS Radiator, Jump Seat set from 89 F250

It is not impossible for me to ship, I work with freight everyday at work, I have access to pallets and strapping, forklift and loading dock and can get it to work to palletize. My main reason to want to do local pick up is simply you can see what you are getting first hand, ask any questions...

FS: 7.3 IDI Turbo engine, NOS Radiator, Jump Seat set from 89 F250

If you were curious here is what happens when a mouse nest catches fire and burns through your fuel line, 4 fire extinguishers and a hose couldn’t stop it. Didn’t help I was fighting a grass fire at the same time. I had it out just a couple weeks ago to pick up a load of dirt, this time I didn’t...

FS: 7.3 IDI Turbo engine, NOS Radiator, Jump Seat set from 89 F250

My time with IDIs came to an abrupt end. My truck burned to the ground more or less in mid April. I really can’t justify replacing it with current prices and time investment. I have some parts to sell. An NOS copper brass radiator. A jump seat set and a 93 Turbo motor I was working on building...

    7.3 IDI Tachometer Woes

Generally on old auto boards, just replace every cap on the board and reflow the solder on everything else and they are like new. Electrolytic caps are polarity dependent so keep track of that when you replace them. They generally have a 12-20 year lifespan so definitely due and it’s a fairly...

    Squealing Noise Until Operating Temp

Yeah I double checked and it’s the 130 amp power master conversion. I’ll try the green belt and the pencil. Thanks! I’ve mostly just lived with it because I have a 94 turbo motor to transplant in and that’ll mean a serpentine conversion but it’s been on a stand for 2 years, I need a few grand to...

    Squealing Noise Until Operating Temp

Basically I went through 3 gen 1 alts before I gave up. The one it came with, a motorcraft rebuild and then one I rebuilt myself. I finally reasoned that if you rebuild old worn out articles with cheap Chinese parts it’s never gonna work right. The 150 amp was simply it was what was available in...

    Squealing Noise Until Operating Temp

For my truck it is pretty cut and dry that once the batteries have recovered from the drain down of starting and the glow plug cycle the squeal stops. If I just let it idle long enough it does not squeal, I can feather the gas pedal while it sits and it will squeal until it recovers from the...

    Squealing Noise Until Operating Temp

My truck does this, from studying it, the cause is my gen 3 alternator is 150Amp, when the glow plugs are running and the batteries exhausted from start up, the belt has a lot of work to do from the alternator. I have not found any belt or dressing that solves it so my practice is to start it...

What is this ignition switch part, and where should it go?

It’s about the size of a pack of smokes

What is this ignition switch part, and where should it go?

On the off chance you want it working, the buzzer is a small white box up under the dash between the steering column and ash tray area. Usually it’s the foam that isolates the drum that makes the noise has rotted out so it’s muted by being stuck against the plastic shell, it can’t vibrate until...
