Engine Issue or Torque Converter issue?
I could see it being a torque converter issue or shift solenoid shorted. That could be the cause of the major voltage drop you are seeing. Truck is running great, but won’t drive
If that doesn't work check fluid in tranfer case. I have seen them out of fluid and the chain inside is locked like a old bicycle chain that has been sitting outside- Markminyard

I have encountered the same problem you are describing. I deal with a lot of old cars that set for years. To me the clutch disk is stuck to the flywheel or pressure plate. Another thing is do you know that you have the correct alignment tool? Does it fit snug into the pilot bushing/ bearing?did you check that the pilot bearing fits the end of the input shaft?
