    With air cleaner off it sounds like a hollow knock, like a knock on a 2x4. Video shows, hard to make out though.

    This here’s my 92 7.3 idi, n/a. Big thanks to this forum for helping me get it to where it is now. Got screwed on the deal initially, a laundry list of hidden issues that came to fruition too late, but i’ve grown to love it in the process and I honestly wouldn’t give it up for anything now.

My only concern is coming to a stop, engaged first/second gear under 1400 it’ll sound off but consistently and louder, or yaknow if im chugging around a parking lot it’ll do it intermittently.
