Tach has power but not reading anything
Literally just dealt with the same thing in my truck, take Slicknik advice and check out the sensor. I got one from partsgeek.com for $40 plus shipping and it got rid of the hunting issue and tac not responding.- SOCAL_Redneck

Excessive Concrete Highway Bounce
I never considered that the shocks could be faulty but hard to tell if that's the case. The bounce or "hop" is most excessive from the shorter Californian expansion joints. I don't think the wheel base would be a big factor considering that I have an extended cab long bed.- SOCAL_Redneck

I gotcha, well the rough country suspension was needed. When I bought the truck a month ago, the original suspension was still on the truck severely worn and caused a bounce much more intense than now. Slicknik The sensor is on the way and yes it shifts perfect 1/2 to full throttle. I'll have to get back to you on the ABS light, I just put a 4" rough country lift on it. For which I had to go to a specialty shop to get the alignment done, since I got turned down from my local mechanics...- SOCAL_Redneck

Slicknik thanks for the insight. No tach under 1k, definitely going to check those sensors out and hopefully that's the end of it. There isn't an OD light on, just the ABS light that is flashing.
