No oil pressure
Ok. So rebuilt my 7.3 idi about 3000 miles on it now. Rod and main bearings obviously new. Crank polished mic’d and double checked all bearing clearance’s with plasti gauge. The truck factory oil pressure gauge stays between r and m. My understanding is that gauge will drop only if pressure...- crr31c

7.3 idi / C6. To 7.3 PS / 4R100 swap
Ok, so just playing around with an idea in my head. I have an 88 F350 7.3 idi with c6. Truck is completely rebuilt and I love my truck. However I need more HP and another forward gear. I have access to a 7.3 power stroke and trans out of a wrecked 03 F250 with only about 120000 miles on it...- crr31c

7.3 idi F350 overheats while pulling
Ok so this is my first diesel. 1988 F350 dually 7.3 idi C6 2WD 3.55 rear. Bought as a project. Built gassers and hot rods all my life so was wanted to try something new and needed a tow vehicle for my 32' double slide TT. about 8500 lb. So here's the rub. Got about 500 miles on rebuilt engine...- crr31c

7.3 idi c6 mpg
Help!! New to the forum. I have an 88 F350 dually 7.3 no turbo, c6 3.55 gears. Only getting about 9 mpg unloaded. Newly built engine new injectors, older IP but in good shape, timed perfect with ferret meter, turned down. Fires right hip cold or hot with out throttle. Only a little black smoke...- crr31c
