The 85 RV with the original 85 hose (in early 2019 when it finally sprang a leak) had the factory clamps. I saved them but I'm not sure I have them with me right now.
The van had a worm gear clamp when I got it in September and it wasn't leaking, but I recently replaced the bad water pump and...
It does for me with a 1/4" drive 5/16 or 11mm deep socket. You could shim it with washers or a bushing between the clamp's T and the nut, if you have to.
Pesky worm gear clamp on the lower radiator hose at the radiator kept working loose. I happened to be at Harbor Freight and saw these. The largest ones fit.
I had to use one at the barb end to seal it while I replaced the worm gear clamp, because it was trying to drain otherwise.
I put an...
1G type of alternator? If so, check the two wire plastic connector to see if it has come out/loose. It has a plastic spring on the plastic fitting that can break. If that's unplugged, the alternator won't turn on.

I got a Four Seasons one via Walmart recently and it seems to work ok.
Do you have the transmission connected to the radiator cooler like it should be? Even with an extra cooler, it seriously needs it to be connected or it'll cook the transmission.
When I found it bad that morning, just before getting on the highway towards a bigger city in Colorado, from Laramie WY and having the passenger window bust out mysteriously.
The carrier bearing on the f250 i had went bad with almost no warning. I heard clunking and checked it, found bad play. continued on hoping it would hold out. it was like a bowling ball in a dryer by the time I got to the next city in the next state, so i called and found a shop for the next...
Yep it takes some time to get the fluid flowing. Mine did the same when I changed the fluid.
Contact GearVendors and order the instruction manual. It has gear oil that needs to be changed every so often. It looks like it already has a deep sump, which is good. It's computer controlled so i...
Some stations are extremely foamy. The RV's front tank had a very long way for fuel to travel from the front filler to the tank. If the nose was downhill and the station was foamy, it would take a good 10 minutes, at least, to fill the tank. If flat and not foamy, it wasn't an issue.
I used the gasket that came with the b&m deep pan and had no problems with leaks.
Did it come with cap screws or hex bolts? the hex bolts the pan came with were useless, they interfered with the pan casting on several so I couldn't tighten the bolts. Slightly longer 1" cap screws (because the...
Yep. I had an inner dually tire blow on the RV at 55-60mph, shortly before I sold it. It just made a loud pop, it didn't jerk or sway, no loss of control. It also allowed me to slowly drive a bit further to a very wide shoulder section of the interstate. I was heading for a nearby exit, but...
"the crime of betraying one's country, especially by attempting to kill the sovereign or overthrow the government."
I don't see any US citizens trying to overthrow the govt, so no. "The sovereign" it refers to means a person such as a king, emperor, etc.
People need to quit trying to change...
The way 6.9 works too, at least based on how I wired up my manual button, the key wasn't required to activate the plugs. That was useful with the electric fuel pump. No need to make the pump run while the plugs are heating.
The 6.9 controller would activate after running a time or two until it...
It didn't get enough of an ass kicking the first time? Uncle Sam will have to teach it a lesson once and for all, I guess. If you're going to commit actual, literal treason, there's going to be consequences.
The one in the RV was black too and suddenly quit working after I owned it several years. I just unplugged the connector and ran a manual button on the relay/solenoid.
I wonder if they bothered to soak it with anything before trying to remove it.
If it were to break off, you can either go to...
The actual original one can stick on because it was mechanical. The updated replacement version is solid state, it can only fail "off"
The fatter silver is original mechanical.
The slimmer black is solid state.
California is mostly just a punching bag for people who want to complain about whatever. Montana, one of the least liberal states, has put a similar ban, specifically on dishwasher detergent.
Got the hose replaced. I just bent the bracket up to gain access. The glow plug controller had to be completely removed.
Had to go buy this 45° tool to deal with the pinch clamps.
But funnily enough, I don't think that's what was leak. There was a makeshift plug stubby piece of hose with a...
