Filter light flashing and black smoke???
'93 7.3idi turbo 260k I've been getting major power loss and black smoke lately. But the fuel filter light started flashing intermittently at idle... Replaced the filter and the light went away for a couple days with no real improvement in performance. But I'm getting excessive black smoke...- Mammoth73

Super Duty axle swap Questions
I've got a 93 F350 cclb 4x4 with the 3.55s. 260k on the odo and noticed the pinion bearings in the back have play and leaking out the seal and is developing a howl. The front has a bad seal along with choccy milk fluid and metal shavings. Found a set of SD axles (tires, wheels, brakes...- Mammoth73

Won't stay running, dies, starts hard, dies again
My 7.3idi factory turbo won't stay running. It started the other day with a hard start, then died twice going to work. Showed the exact symptoms of running out of fuel except I had fuel. Did the return lines twice, replaced pickup tube and blew lines as well as cleaned the tank of debris. It'll...- Mammoth73

Stiff pedal, vacuum pump or brake booster?
So this morning out of the blue I noticed I had little to no power brakes. Long story short the vacuum pump is showing 24Hg, the check valve is good and all hoses seem secure and leak free. Tried the booster test with pushing the pedal 5 times and holding and turning it on with little movement...- Mammoth73
