Ford 10.25 rear end, JUNK??
Ok, these things look beefy enough to rival a Dana 60, The one in my fleet van (97 E250 E4OD 5.4) failed early this year, howling and clunking...now the one in my recently acquired personal vehicle (89 F250 4x4 7.3) is howling and the gear lash appears quite excessive. R&R heater core w/AC
I did one a while back w/o AC and it was pretty simple, Should I allocate more time to do the AC one. Is it more of a bitch? I snagged the core at Napa for $19. and hope to throw it in this evening. THANKS Tony- CaseyJones

WMO (synthetics and/or gear oil ok?)
I have searched the archives here. I already see that high concentrates are a bad idea. Is 2-3 gal:20gal diesel a bad thing, is that lean enough to not harm the engine in any way? I want to burn it but not at the cost of shortening engine life. Can I burn gear oil and synthetic ATF/Gear oil...- CaseyJones

Voltage dropping intermittently
I drive home at night and notice the voltage dropping every little while. Everything dims and the needle sits on the red. It will return to normal for a minute or two, then back down........up........down......up.....down every minute or so. I found a thread in the archives that described...- CaseyJones
