    Intermittent cruise control

I checked this years ago and it told me my vin doesn't have any recalls. Even though it definitely has this problem. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk

Oh nevermind I thought they inspect it after you load the car up. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

So, I think it will fit. But, what's this pre inspection thing that u-haul has on their site? Is there any way to avoid that? Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

Hey having someone do brakes is not a bad idea. I wouldn't have to buy external tow lights! Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

Pretty sure it's 8% straight up through Mount Rainier. I wish I could rent a trailer like that for a decent price. I could tow at $210 for cheaper than I could rent a trailer. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

Cost effective way to tow a 6.9 f250?

I'm not going over 50mph. I was gonna ask...if I put it on backwards do I lock the front wheels somehow? Or, do I let it steer freely? I've never done it that way. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

Cost effective way to tow a 6.9 f250?

With the 4 speed, I have little to no stopping power with nothing but an aluminum toolbox. Not untill I hit 35 mph, when I can shift into 3rd. Even then, I am pushing the RPM there. I could not imagine what 7,000 lbs would do at 35 mph in 3rd going down that pass. I don't remember the slope...

Cost effective way to tow a 6.9 f250?

I know that uphill I'm going to probably max at 30 with 3rd gear as I have a worn N/A 6.9. I plan on taking regular breaks. I'm more worried about the vacuum pump delete and the lack of rear wheel brakes. I have no power booster. Best case scenario I drive off the pass and die instantly. Sent...

Besides, no one I know actually knows how to drive a vehicle that is being rope towed. "You are the brakes" don't know how many times I've said that. A good tow rope is easier to find than a good buddy. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

In Washington state you can't drive on highways with a rope. No other way over the mountains :( Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

Cost effective way to tow a 6.9 f250?

Thank you! I'm broke as s***. Love my truck but I got a lower end knock and a tick up high. It's my daily driver so I don't have time to pull and rebuild. I'm going with the u-haul dolley. Thanks for the input! Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

Cost effective way to tow a 6.9 f250?

Obviously, I would have to lie to u-haul about what I am towing if it does. Well, if an f150 can fit width wise. I don't see why any other f-series can't. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

The interior is ugly as all hell in my opinion. I definitely agree on the price point. You can buy a remanned motor for about 7,000 that you wouldn't have to worry about. Especially, if you have a t19. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

Cost effective way to tow a 6.9 f250?

I haven't really seen the truck yet so I don't know what model it is. Guy said he's sick of looking at and I can have it for free. So, I didn't really ask a lot of questions. But, what is the max length and weight these trucks can be? Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

Well that's nice to know especially since I am going over a mountain pass. Don't want that thing pulling me around going downhill. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

I think I might just have to do that. The only problem is I would have to be there and what? Get in my truck and follow the tow truck driver? I'm just worried they won't tow it since it's supposed to be 'road side assistance' Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

I have a 6.9 f250 that I'm trying to use to tow another 250 6.9 without the transmission. I'm only going about 50 miles. Can I flat tow it? Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
