    Could you use one that had no straight on the 5" side? Basically a flare from 3 up to the 5 since the 5 is being welded it would not require a straight.

    Those are oversized tires which will throw your calculations for mpg off if you haven't changed the speedo gear. Might try doing the math back to see what your actual miles traveled vs the odometer and then figure it from there

    It does not have a baffle in it, wide open. All suppliers that I looked at have the same black paint on all surfaces. Product description just says 'long lasting, durable coating'. I guess if I strip it it can't end up any worse than the one I pulled with all its pinholes
