Oil on glow plug.
In the process of installing new glow plugs and injectors (currently in process now), one of my glow plugs had oil on it. So far all the others have only had carbon deposits. I am new to diesel, but with experience in gas, I would guess it is poorly sealing rings (1), bad valve seal or stem (2)...- Themgs14

Changing from a C-6 to a ZF S5-42 manual trans w/hydraulic clutch in a E-350 w/6.9
I am considering doing this conversion to my 87' E350 6.9 4x2. Almost certainly doing and you posts on your progression have been very helpful. If there is any way you can get those pictures up or message me a link it would be greatly appreciated.- Themgs14
