    wmo filter life?

I use those clear braided hose from homedepot for my plumbing needs. I had a 1" hose break off the pump's discharge side and made a huge mess before I caught it. I put on a new one and double clamped it on. This one already started showing that it's going to fail soon because there's a...

    wmo filter life?

I have plugged ph2528 after pumped 25 gallons, other time it took maybe 200 gallons before get plugged. I suppose it depends on WMO quality. The longer you let it to settle, the longer the filter will live.

    WMO processing set-up

The website for the "cheap" fram oil filters turned out to be very deceptiving! It's $5 plus $10 ea to ship!! Ripoff! I'll buy locally only and it's still more bang for the buck than what I used to run, PH2825 due to the much more filtering capacity. I'll do water/meth injection in the...

    WMO processing set-up

What filter you're referring about? The Fram PH2825 will completely blocks all flow when clogged. The Fram P1654A is a hydraulic filter and when I disassembled it, no way I can see anything will bypass the filter, same goes for the Promotive PH4457 filter.

    WMO processing set-up

ok I lied, I didnt have a Fram PH2825 on hand to gut and inspect I bought ProMotive PH4457 as the store didnt have PH2825 and cross referred to this filter. Here's the info.... Fram P1654A's filter media is measured as 4"x115" which equals 460in^2 total area ProMotive PH4457's filter...

    WMO processing set-up

I went through oil filters too quick when I pump from the settle barrel to the centrifuge barrel. I just plugged another set of PH2825 filters at a new record of only 50 gallon of waste oil through it (or 25 gallons each filter). I'm looking for different and better oil filters to...

    What color is your WMO?

I don't know if it's true but when I made a radiator blocker for the winter as I often don't drive far. I drove 10 hours to home for the spring break and the entire time my truck ran at a steady temperature of around 170*F. I noticed lower MPG than normal so I removed the radiator blocker then...

    One or two water filters??

I dewater my wmo by blend with gas then settle for at least a week then filter through a 20 micron engine oil filter (Fram PH2825, it'll fit in place of a PH8A. I use it as it do not have a bypass valve) then centrifuge. After I centrifuged, I polish my fuel by circulating through another 20...

    One or two water filters??

you mean water blocker/water separator? or you mean house water filter (designed to filter water)?

    What color is your WMO?

My truck didn't need any pedal to start when on straight D2, even down to ~15 to 20*F without plugging in block heater. With WMO, it needs pedal to starts even in the 50's to 70's *F weathers I had recently.

Oh, I can't wait to finish this batch so my truck can run cleaner(less smokes)!!!!!

    What color is your WMO?

My only 4 complaints are the 1) cold start, 2) idle when cold, 3) smokes and 4) one clogged fuel filter. My truck require some pedal to start and keep the foot on the pedal to keep it running as it will not idle on its own when cold but after driving for a mile or so it'll run completely normal...

    What color is your WMO?

I want to add what i've found I scooped out ALL those clear looking blobs off the top in my centrifuging barrel. I then ran my centrifugal again for ~12 hours (I plug it in before I go to bed and unplug when I leave to school in the morning) then I discovered that there's blobs everywhere...

Good to know what those sbc pump are capable of!

HF 1/2" Hammer drill will NOT power a SBC pumped centrifuge...

You can add a bypass/regulator valve to bleed off excess pressure/flow.

HF 1/2" Hammer drill will NOT power a SBC pumped centrifuge...

The spinner centrifuge like the pabiodiesel require 80-100psi BUT low gpm. The sbc oil pump was designed to pump 20-50 psi with much more gpm so if you try to make it to pump the spinner, the motor in the driller get loaded pretty hard IMHO.

Recnt score and update for those who care to read

I have the 6 hp 2" semi-trash pump from TSC. Initial use was challenge to get it primed but after that I never really need to re-prime. The pump have built in fuel shut off valve. When I finish transferring oil, I let the pump running until the gas empties out of the carb and stalls so there...

Recnt score and update for those who care to read

I have the 2" semi-trash (can handle some solids) gas powered pump. I personally think a trash pump will be a great pump to have because you may never know what they have put in the holding tank. I never had a "super sucker" but what i've read, it sounds like a great tool but will be much less...

    What color is your WMO?

I just did the fire test tonight. I used bulb to suck up that clear looking thing out to test it. I was able to easily ignite it but it burns slowly and then dies with oil residues remaining. I can't even ignite the regular ol' black waste motor oil, so there's difference?? I scooped out...

Ok, I'll do the fire test for hell of it and probably scoop the top off. Highly filtered, high quality bonfire starter fluid LOL

    What color is your WMO?

I centrifuged this batch (looks like ~50 gallons for approximately 36 hours, overkill I know). I allowed it to settle for two days. I'm concerned what I'm seeing  I can't attach the video. That clear blobs on the top resists from blend into the waste oil. My best guess it's ethanol...
