Ok, when I open ed my drivers door to do some work on my new gauges, this item was in the drivers floor board . It must have come from under the seat or under the dash. It is about 8 inches long and 3x3 approximately, it is made of hard foam. Who knows what this is and where it goes?

Yes, I figured out I was looking at 160 degrees, not 1600! I don’t know what I was thinking at first , the gauge is a 0 to 1500 degree gauge and the needle is sitting just over 1 so that would be 160!! Thank you all for the help and getting me to think further into it. It freaked me out at first...
Ok just got my gauges installed and either something is wrong with my get gauge or I don’t know how to read it . It looks to me like it is showing 1600 degrees sitting idling in my drive way , someone tell me what your seeing please .

Yep I ordered the one you have pictured the connector is wrong for my vehicle on side tank. The other one I order has correct shaped plug in connector but it is too small

i was thinking of putting the oil pressure sensor on the back top drivers side of block, there is a large square headed plug that I thought was one of the listed places for oil pressure?
Who knows what size reducer I need to attach my sensors for oil pressure and water temp to block I know my sensors are 1/8 inch npt but not the size to fit block hole
