So, I finally got my fuel system working and 12 hours later, NO leaks or air in the fuel lines!!! Also, the shower head looked fine and so did the little rubber valve piece when it was apart a while back. the air coming into the system is pre-engine. First diesel purchase - need advice
Pricing I got my truck for $1800.00, and i have no clue what the mileage is. My speedometer only has a 99,999 meter, not a 999,999 meter, and it says something like 86,000 +. $3,000.00 is too much in my opinion. IDI into a military truck
Brakes Two problems with this. 1) make sure you have a water separator in-line unless you like draining the air tanks every 10 miles (example given) due to water buildup. 2) if you use a electric pump, hook 2 up. Engine gallop and power or lack of
power issue Remove your fuel sending unit and inspect it. Might be bad. When you turn, all the fuel in the tank sloshes to one side.
