Medium duty flywheel interchange with zf transmission
NO< NO< NO this is not a dual mass flywheel. It is a single piece. Medium duty trucks had one piece flywheels. I have a DMF and want to know if it will work with my ZF trans. Do I have to change a clutch to make it work? I asked this question in an earlier thread, but the replies were...- agengr

SMF from F-550 into F350
I do not have a PSD, they are both IDI. I just need to know if the medium duty IDI flywheel will work on a ZF transmission. Do I have to change the clutch?- agengr

The replacement engines are 7.3 IDI non-turbos. That is the reason I asked about using the single mass flywheel from the F550-F750 truck on the 93 F350 ZF transmission- agengr

This is my first post, so I may need to further clarify some things. I have a 93 F350 w/ 7.3 IDI Turbo. It has developed a thirst for water and sometimes seems to hydrostat lock after sitting overnight. It now uses over 1 gallon per hour. I found 2 engines from wrecked runnning U-haul...- agengr
