argve...Sounds like you liked a little diesel with your WW LOL
Rob... you must be near Colfax then or Wadsworth? My next trip will be in late June early July. I'll let you know when, can't wait to get into those thunder storms
Cool Rob, this is a good thread.
BTW what part of CO are you in, I travel through there 3x a year for work and hit most of the major towns, at least the ones with Circuit City stores in them.
It seems what we are talking about really is the individuals perspective on what he wants and what possible risks he is willing to take. When I say that someone is putting too much water in their engine it's only my opinion from my perspective which is on the conservative side. All of these mods...
SOP= seat of pants
I was on this RV forum and they kept using the letters DW and DH I thought it might mean dish washer but it turned out to be darling wife, I was close LOL . I'm glad my DW doesn't read this forum :Sly
Your right F350camper
I have several pumps that put out 3500 psi @5.5 gpm with the pump turning at 3600 rpms. No matter what nozzle I put in the end of the hose or no nozzle at all the gpm will remain the same as long as the rpms on the pump remain the same. My assertion was based on a...
Some of the kits say you don't have to clamp the hose onto the nozzlesand solenoids but you do and the same goes for the boost tube that comes off your intake, mine blew off a few times and I could really hear the turbo then :D . Here is another good DIY site.

If the pump's max is 1.6gph you wouldn't be able to run more than 1 nozzle at a time. If your pump puts out say 6gph you could stage the nozzles using 3 boost switches each set to various levels and 3 solenoids that would activate after it's particular boost switches level was met. The diameter...
Thanks, Agnem
I read his article a few days ago and his DIY kit is right along the lines of most kits found on the net. The major consensus for these kits is higher pump pressure is better for atomizing the water. Whether this is for better control or uniformity of flow I don't know for sure...
. I'm not sure the mist has enough time to evaporate before the cylinder. I agree that 10gph is way too much, the formula I've seen is around 1.5 gph per 100hp. I'm using 3.0 gph on my DT rated at 210 hp. Staging the nozzles at incremental boost levels is the way to go.
I added some alcky to...
Thanks Dale, I will tell him he has to take his truck to Brazil to have the warranty work done LOL . Wouldn't a code cause the check engine light to stay on? He said it was like the truck blacked out for a second or two after all the warning sirens stopped. He actually does some work at Galpin...
A friend of mines went to start his 04 PSD today and it hicupped and all the buzzers and lights on the dash flashed and he thought the battery was going to die before it would turn over. It finally started and ran real rough as though it had run out of fuel. I asked him if it was under...
Here is a link for MD (new) parts. Dual exhaust, chrome bumpers, etc. Once on the main site you can check the other links.

Keep on getting the OT and that tranny will get into your truck that much sooner. Looks like you've been busy. Just don't be working when I'm up your way so you can test drive my truck. then you can tell me if you think a gov spring adjustment is in order.
Speaking of the dark side I can hardly see my license plate from all the soot LOL . How ya been nevrenufhp? Find a project truck yet? I was looking for you while out in some other states. I saw some interseting stuff in peoples yards, hard to tell if they had a junkyard or just rundown equipment.

The ratio I've seen is 1.5 to 2.0 gph for each 100 hp your engine puts out as a starting point. 100 psi is what I have and I've read that 60 is just enough to atomize the water.
Duke, I still haven't done the springs yet I don't know if I need to with my gearing being so high 3.73 I...
