Tranny went!
1996 F-250 auto tranny w/ OD, 4x4 I was towing my camper up a long hill today. Engine temp was normal, no sign of problems. Just as a broke the top of the hill, suddenly I had no forward engagement. I stopped the truck, checked and had no forward gears...still had reverse. No tranny fluid...- camconative

Hello all, Newbie here. I recently purchased a 1996 Ford f-250 w/ 7.3L turbo diesel. The truck is in very good condition, has 137,000 on the odometer and 500 miles on new rebuilt transmission. The only flaw I could find with the truck is that the rear fuel tank had an annoying slow leak...- camconative
