    2 trucks into1?

Thanks for the link towcat, that was a lot of info, I did not realize how involved going from 2x4 to 4x4. I do have the facility/ equipment to use but no, I do not have the fab skills for that big of a project. Ideally I would just get a crew cab 4x4, but so far haven't been able to find one...

    2 trucks into1?

Thanks for the reply knuckledragger, that's one of my big questions in all of this is if it will be easier to stick the front/rear end, driveshaft, tranny and tcase under the new truck or plop the cab and engine onto the old frame and what issues I might run into doing either one. This will be...

notes and thoughts on my WMO filtration rig

i use a centrifuge for wmo and wvo. it works great. it was pricey but i put a lot of miles on and filter fuel for 2 vehicles so it is worth the investment to not have to buy replacement filters.

    starter issue...

i had that problem intermittently myself and when it wouldn't start i would jump the 2 large posts on the fender mounted solenoid and it would fire right up, narrowing the problem down to that solenoid. so i went out and got one but didn't get around to installing it and it never happened again...

    Oil as fuel?

i would blend the oil at least 20% diesel and increase the blend as the weather gets colder. if you run a good additive in the 100% diesel tank and run off of it for a minute or two before shutting down you shouldn't have to worry about the oil gelling up in the fuel lines or pumps. also, the...

    starter issue...

so recently when i start my truck it will first make a really horrible loud grinding gnashing type of sound. this seems to only happen on the first start of the day and will turn over fine on the second try, sometimes takes a third and then starts fine the rest of the day. it did this once or...

    running with no lift pump?!?!?!

thank you all for your replies its making some more sense to me now. i think the pressure gauge is a really good idea. the reason i don't have it wired to go on with the key is because i run another fuel pump when i run wvo. both of my fuel systems are separate up until the ip. this way when i...
