    E350 / E-350 XLT 1993 7.3 IDI Radiator?

My Champion actually has sprung a leak, but they were great about replacing it. I called them up and the lady is super nice and helpful, sent me out a new one no questions asked really. I didn't have to send the old one back either. Other than my labor of having to replace it, I thought it...

Inverted the polarization on the odometer

Haha, no, I don't usually wear sunglasses. I should try it, not sure what exactly it'll look like.

    E4od idi

I literally just went through something similar. Truck was actually in fourth, not third. It ended up being the MPLS. The computer couldn’t tell the lever was in drive do didn’t send grounds to the two shift solenoids to shift into the other gears while in drive. You can take the MLPS off...

Inverted the polarization on the odometer

So I don’t think I’ve ever seen this mod done before. The polarization film on my LCD screen odometer was getting funky so I decided to replace it. I ordered some new film and while I was looking at it I noticed if turned 90 degrees the background could be black and the numbers clear, instead...

    E350 / E-350 XLT 1993 7.3 IDI Radiator?

The F series do fit the E series. The only difference is slightly different fan shroud. I had to fabricate some aluminum brackets to make the fan shroud attach properly. I run the 4 core aluminum champion radiator for an F-350 in my 92 E-350.

    Econoline battery group 65 "conversion"?

Stock is not group 31. Group 31 is a much larger battery. The optima group 31 though is narrower than a normal group 31 due to the offset spiracells therefore fits.

    Econoline battery group 65 "conversion"?

Optima Group 31 fits on the passenger side.

Fuel Gauge pegged - where to start looking

When my connector to the tank was not pushed all the way together, aka open circuit, my fuel gauge was off the chart full all the time.

    I present the 400,000 mile PSOM/Odometer

It just goes to 300,000. Nothing special. There is a video or two floating around somewhere of it.

Fuel Gauge pegged - where to start looking

Do you know if you have an anti slosh module in the instrument cluster. I think they can cause the fuel guage to peg when bad. My fuel guage was pegged for a while from me not pushing a connector fully together at the tank from the sender after I worked on it. Could try to locate that...

    Van Restoration Project

I actually ended up donating the turbo to a friend of mine and he used it on a project truck a while back. I am kind of getting worried about parts and such, these things are getting old and it's going to be harder and harder to find stuff.

    E4OD won't move from stop in D

Never heard of this problem. Could it be the torque converter somehow? Does the fluid look and smell ok?

    I present the 400,000 mile PSOM/Odometer

I think the 87-91 rolled over at 99,999 miles, the 92-96 roll over at 399,999 miles, and the 97+ I'm not sure where it tops out.

    I present the 400,000 mile PSOM/Odometer

So... everyone said it couldn't be done. But, the van was about to roll over to 400,000 miles and I didn't want to roll back from 399,999 back to 300,000 and be a lame-o. So I figured out a way to get it to show 4xx,***. It's really just a cheat, but took a little doing and looks pretty...

Wally the Walrus (1992 E350 High Roof/Ext. Body)

That instrument cluster you found will work in the van. I have one rigged up. If you need some help I can try to advise. To get the tach to work you need to run a wire to the tranny computer. It has the output but no connector or wire to connect to it. You also need to reorder the wires on...

    Van Restoration Project

So did a fun little upgrade today. The lighting in the back of the van had been lacking and I realized about a year ago some vans came with courtesy lights in the rear. Even though this was an custom ordered XLT it somehow wasn't included. This van is one of the first few off the assembly...

7.3 IDI replacement dipstick tube -E-350 van

Maybe just get another transmission dipstick and cut it to the proper length. The tranny ones are much thinner and will probably not bind up as easily.

ORing on dipstick tube &valve cover gaskets on ‘94 IDIT engine

Man, you got a lot of leaks going on. I used cork gaskets a long time ago and hated them. I only use RTV or rubber now. Mostly just rubber with RTV slathered all over it. I know from the factory they sealed the oil pan to the engine with only a ton of RTV, no gasket. If you end up needing...
