    Vacuum Filling Coolant (1993 7.3 IDI)....possible Concerns??

    Not sure how you plan on pulling a 25 psi vacuum when on earth, lol. But let us know how it goes… I’ve always had luck just filling it normally. Maybe I got trapped air but engine has been running for 20 years with no noticeable issues.

    The full flow filter I replace at 3,000. The bypass filter every 10,000 along with the oil.

    I run the amsoil dual bypass filter. Oil analysis comes back as excellent and can easily run 10,000 miles. Mounted the filter head on the frame rail. Super easy access to the filters.

    There may be a designated inlet and outlet on the radiator but I don't know that it matters much. You can look in front of your condenser and see if you see another cooler and then just trace the lines. From what I've seen they're in series with the main radiator. Should be pretty easy to see...

    Just an FYI, the F-350 radiators fit the E-350s for the same year/diesel. I use the aluminum champion for an F-350.

    This is 99% cavitation especially with it bored over and the spots you saw in the cylinder wall. My pictures in the article you can see the cylinder looks perfect except the water spraying through the wall, lol. Pressurize the cooling system and you’ll see it.

    On mine, i put in new gaskets and RTV on both sides but not so much it squirts out all inside. I also then put cam lock washers on all the bolts and it hasn't leaked in years now. Make sure the covers are a straight as possible too/not bent.

    E350 / E-350 XLT 1993 7.3 IDI Radiator?

    The F series do fit the E series. The only difference is slightly different fan shroud. I had to fabricate some aluminum brackets to make the fan shroud attach properly. I run the 4 core aluminum champion radiator for an F-350 in my 92 E-350.

    Could you make an IDI that had wet sleeves and 6.9 pistons by using a 7.3 block? I am guessing that this is impossible?

    I don't have wet sleeves but my 7.3 is sleeved down a 6.9.
