if it took a 1000hp to run an eleven four then something is wrong. my room mate has a 2002 dodge 2500 cummins twin turbo makin 700 or so hp to the wheels and 1200 or so lb feet of torque (ill get the dyno sheet this weekend and scan it) and his truck ran a mid to high 11. surely an extra 300...
well me and my buddies have been drinkin and decided it would be a good idea to hook up my idi to my buddies powerstroke. i have a field next to my house that we farm and we figured what the hell. its my 89 250 7.3 5 spd vs his 95 7.3 e4od. both in 4 low. first run he jumps the gun and starts to...
Depends on what plugs are in there. when i replaced my glowplugs i had 3 bosch, 1 champion and 4 berus. there were 4 that were good. 3 bosch and 1 zd9. i opted to replace them all, albeit i do have a bag of about 60 brand new zd9s that i got for free so it didnt cost me anything but i didnt want...
i just go off the trip meter on mine since my gauges like to work sometimes and othertimes like to stay pegged far to the right. i just fill up every 200 miles if im only running off my back tank because the front one is SLOW to fill up
you need an allen wrench to get your cover off the the hub, snap ring pliers and a couple screw drivers/picks to get your hub apart. need a hammer and a punch or chisel to get the pins out of your brake calipers. you need one of these...
take your axle out and put a new one in. need to take off your hubs, brakes/rotors, wheel bearings and spindle. then you pull the axle out youll probably need to cut the zip ties or what ever holds on that little rubber boot where the axle splits. its not too bad. make sure youve got hte socket...
i had a 92 f150 that did that.. seems to be a pretty common problem. i think the parts were only $30 from ford... might save you the trouble of going junk yarding and having to do this again if your junk yard shifter doesnt hold up
yea i dont have any either. hell you can barely see my license plate. ive got a shock bumper on my truck with no place to mount the plate so its in front of the bumper. i think having farm plates helps keep the cops off my back though :D
haha good to know, I've never noticed anything like that in any manual trans vehicle ive driven. of course i have awful hearing so that could be the reason why i cant hear it.
My neverstarts took a dump on me this morning. Been looking at diehards as my old f150 had one in it that was six years old and when I sold the truck a month ago it was still cranking over like a brand new battery
i just lock my hubs, try to keep both tanks full for the most part and add my additive. and make sure ive got plenty of chew and my tow strap ready. ive never put extra weight in the bed of any of my trucks and ive always gotten around fine. the lubing of the seals on the door seems like a good...
these gauges are dumby gauges, dont actually show how much pressure you have. if youve got over x ammount of pressure it goes up, if you dont it stays down or goes down to nothing if you lose pressure. mine is the same way as yours, no worries!
your starter turning over fast enough? Fuel didnt gel up did it? my truck is a bastard to start up when it gets below 40 degrees but i think ive finally got it down to my starter is getting wore out and not spinning the old gal over fast enough
marriage sounds like such a beautiful thing haha
