Injection,Fuel and Lift pumps 98 Dodge 24V
this article will explain everything, just to add that the intake pump/level sender unit can stay inplace however the pickup tube needs to be pulled from the pump so fuel can be picked up from the bottom of the tank, it wont pull thru the pump...- Whit

I volunteered to work on an old IDI....first time ever on one of these cats, anyway it runs just fine but he says it doesnt start without starting fluid, its in my shop now so I pulled the aircleaner to get good view of things, I turned the key on to activate the glow plugs and the module behind...- Whit

Lift Pump Failed
I wouldnt do it..........they are going to install a intank pump and they arent much better than the OEM units....................been there done that I would go with the Airdog in a heartbeat right now check out this article before ya jump here...- Whit

no throttle respone is yer APPS.....accelerator peddle sensor.......its loosin its brains re-cal the APPS turn key on but dont start slowly push peddle to floor slowly let peddle back up turn key off you are now re-calibrated if problem continues yer apps is shot start truck and enjoy- Whit
