    Towing capabilities

    Thanks for the info. I kinda figured the number would be in that ball park. Seems the 3/4 ton trucks built then cant pull the same amount as the more current trucks.

    Towing capabilities

    I've had a hard time figuring out what kind of weight my truck can pull. I currently have a light weight travel trailer but want to upgrade to a fifth wheel toyhauler. Anybody have an idea on a safe towing weight? A 2500 4x4with light mods.

    I just bought a '95 12 valve 4x4 with the auto trans. The thing is bone stock with 138,000 miles. I was told that the transmission was rebuilt not long ago. First question: is there a way to tell if it was rebuilt or do I have to take his word for it. Also, I am thinking about an intake, 4"...
