well i think you would be really happy with a 4" straight exhaust with a 6" tip. sounds great with great performance. you can find a good 4" exhaust system really reasonable. i personally love my stacks but that is just my preference
well i have owned a 1st gen 12v, a 2nd gen 12v and 24v, and a common rail and my 1st gen i have now has been the most fun to build. there's just something about knowing that the power you are putting down is done by your own hands and not just a computer. just my .02 i get more satisfaction out...
it may take some work but im sure you could make the twins work without an i/c and you will still see an increase in the horsepower and a decrease in EGT's
Another great mod that i haven't seen mentioned yet is the 366 spring. this allows the engine to have a greater RPM band and will really make the truck much more driveable. also check for a HX35 turbo or at least a 12 cm exhaust housing, again will make a huge difference with the getrags...
