    I got the 40d out and have two questions. #1 does the plate the starter bolts to get swapped out? #2 Steel ring that bolts to the crankshaft behind the flex plate do I need the one from the manual truck?

    I have a 93 f250 4x4 with a 7.3 n/a 179860 on the clock with an e40d trans. My question is I found a 90 250 4x4 7.3 with a 5 speed manual how hard is it to convert a auto to the 5 speed? And are there any known problems with that 5 speed?
