It didn't look like it. I think it was mother nature's thread locker (corrosion and time). It all looks original equipment, so 30 some years and a bad angle were holding me back.
Thanks again to everyone for your help. Both on and off this post. There are lots of helpful ideas out there.
Thanks, everyone for the replies.
It finally broke loose.
Here's what I did:
Lots of PB Blaster (may not have had an effect)
Clamped one of the belts for extra holding power (thanks Rondo)
Got a bigger step so i could lean into the air hammer harder.
Everything else should be easier than that...
If I have to mess up the fan clutch, so be it. I have to get the pump off and replace it. I might be able to find a butane torch. I'm not sure I canget my mits on a cutting torch. Definately not at 5pm on a Sunday.
I've got the belts on too tight. The nut only moves when hitting it with the 4lb hammer.
I'm alone, so helpers are out of the question at the moment.
Edit: I meant that the whole pully moves with the 4lb.
I need ssome additional suggestions. The nut holding the fan on my waterpump is being stubborn.
I've tried: Pnumatic fan clutch wrench (90psi, 4500 hit/second)
PB Blaster
Heat gun
4 lb hammer
I really need to get this done.
Thanks ahead of time

Thanks Bart.
I didn't think of the heater hoses. No worry about tranny hoses, I've got a manual.

My radiator sprung a leak. Ordered and just received a Champion. (There are no notable radiator shops in Rapid City, SD) I'm trying to decide if I should replace a bunch of stuff as long as I have the radiator out. How do you test the fan clutch?
I have all the belts and hoses.
About ready to pull the trigger on a Champion 3 core radiator (the only one they have available at the moment). I'm missing driving my big '92 around. Anyone have better options?
OK, I have a '92 F350 with the regular axle in back. The springs on both sides have cracked and/or missing leaves. I need to replace them.
I would like to use this truck to haul a 12k 5th wheel. I believe it can with no problem after the spring problem is fixed.
FYI: I have a banks turbo and...
Replaced the return fuel lines at the top of the engine. Nicked the fuel line that leads to the tank with my knife. It looks like a plastic line with a rubber outside. Is that just mine or is it OEM? Going to have to replace it back to the metal line.
Why is there a spacer at the top of...
