    Stubborn waterpump fan nut

It didn't look like it. I think it was mother nature's thread locker (corrosion and time). It all looks original equipment, so 30 some years and a bad angle were holding me back. Thanks again to everyone for your help. Both on and off this post. There are lots of helpful ideas out there.

    Stubborn waterpump fan nut

Thanks, everyone for the replies. It finally broke loose. Here's what I did: Lots of PB Blaster (may not have had an effect) Clamped one of the belts for extra holding power (thanks Rondo) Got a bigger step so i could lean into the air hammer harder. Everything else should be easier than that...

Those are rubber coated plastic lines. Thats why they hold so well. Once you disterb them, you have to replace. At least thats what happened to me.

    Stubborn waterpump fan nut

I've got the belts on too tight. The nut only moves when hitting it with the 4lb hammer. I'm alone, so helpers are out of the question at the moment. Edit: I meant that the whole pully moves with the 4lb.

So what did you do with your truck today?

Thanks Bart. I didn't think of the heater hoses. No worry about tranny hoses, I've got a manual. I just replaced the thermostat and was putting the new belts on when I found that my Alt belt was too short. Since that one goes on first, I'm going to have to wait putting stuff back together.

So what did you do with your truck today?

My radiator sprung a leak. Ordered and just received a Champion. (There are no notable radiator shops in Rapid City, SD) I'm trying to decide if I should replace a bunch of stuff as long as I have the radiator out. How do you test the fan clutch? I have all the belts and hoses.

    Sharing a find, HO waterpump

FlowKooler has a bit of a wait time right now. So order ahead and plan for a wait. I cancelled my order with them because I wanted it sooner.

So what did you do with your truck today?

About ready to pull the trigger on a Champion 3 core radiator (the only one they have available at the moment). I'm missing driving my big '92 around. Anyone have better options?

    '92 F350 rear springs advise

OK, I have a '92 F350 with the regular axle in back. The springs on both sides have cracked and/or missing leaves. I need to replace them. I would like to use this truck to haul a 12k 5th wheel. I believe it can with no problem after the spring problem is fixed. FYI: I have a banks turbo and...

    1989 S1600 x Uhaul truck 7.3 IDI

There's more oil in ATF, so more lubricating. I'll assume that Seafoam has more cleaners, but ATF works great and cheaper.

So what did you do with your truck today?

Return fuel line replaced from the block down to the metal line at the frame. ATF in the fuel filter does wonders. My beast is purring like a kitten.

So what did you do with your truck today?

That's why I try to hand thread first, then use the wrench. Those were tough to get started.

So what did you do with your truck today?

Replaced the return fuel lines at the top of the engine. Nicked the fuel line that leads to the tank with my knife. It looks like a plastic line with a rubber outside. Is that just mine or is it OEM? Going to have to replace it back to the metal line. Why is there a spacer at the top of...
