Just have a few questions.
1st= how much boost can stock hardware handle?
2nd= should stock hardware be retorqued?
3rd=I have no idea what is in my truck. Is the stock hardware, bolts vs. Studs, and if I pulled the covers would I be abke to check torque?
I am wondering if there is anything I...
Oh its fun,,, except she is a super cluts and I am gaurented to loose an eye or eye injury at some point. She has broken 2 of my ribs. Both differant times due to "foolin around". Lol
Well then, ill deffinetly have to put that on my list. In my 6.2 it was in the passenger manifold/turbo pedistol. And I didnt even think about it when I replaced the probe, just assumed it was correct being it appears to have a flat spot in the casting as if that's where it was supposed to be.
Every year my kids get some type of nerf gun,,,,, and every year my girlfriend steals them, hides them, and spends the following year surprise blasting random people. Me, my kids, family, guests, but of coarse only when no one expects it.
Ok I got 2 questions.
1= where is the best prob location?
My ATS88 sticks out the passenger side. And I'm just now relising that is the output?
2= what's does IIRC mean? I cant figure it out.
I picked up an '01-'03 60/40 seat to swap into my '88. The bench I currently have is out of a f-superduty. I like the built in cup holders, back support, and adjustability.
Has any one done this? Figure ill get it thrown in and see how things line up and go from there.
I am looking for info on the assembly that the foot lever actuates, "ratchets" for the parking brake. My foot lever has a great feel. Its smooth, firm, and when my foot holds it, the truck is stopped. But there is zero ratchet, and it wont stay down. Its as if the ratcheting aspect is broken. Do...
I'm no pro, but ive read that running the 2 pipes from each side into a 3" collector and then 1 single 3" into a straight through muffler works well for sound and performance.
To my knowledge no studs yet. And there is plenty of fuel. Need to install a fuel pressure gauge into my filter head and a regulator.
Maybe someday run it on a dyno I and twerk timing. I set it at 9*
I can easily bury my Speedo, now I want to see. Maybe I can cross over Wilkerson pass into south park, there is a forever stretch of straight wide open road.
Mine is set up 7.3, moose Jr IP, electric lift, ATS turbo, zf5, GV, 3.55
Before the new IP, injectors, and elecrric lift pump, it was a turd and couldnt hold double overdrive at 80 mph.
Now it does great. I would do 3.73 gears though, because I do tow sometimes
Felt stupid for even asking. That's exactly what I did. All the linkages ive delt with bolted to the case arm or spline. Add fluids and skid plate and I'm back to having 4 wheel drive.
I'm replacing my transfercase, I pryed the linkage off of the transfercase. What's is the best way to reattach the linkage? Do I install the bushing into the arm and then install it onto the pin or the other way around? The new case doesnt bolt on
Sorry that was half a thought. Point being if the block heater is getting coolant temp above the 112* (or what ever it is) the sensor switches off at, and I thought I read that ford/international used the glow plugs for below 70*. That a happy spot would be just around 70* that way you still...
Ive noticed when I start mine off of the block heater, its warm enough the cold advance isn't activated or high idle. It fires up great, but seems to idle low. I have the toggle and hole drilled for the high idle mod, just need the diod.
