I'm replacing my transfercase, I pryed the linkage off of the transfercase. What's is the best way to reattach the linkage? Do I install the bushing into the arm and then install it onto the pin or the other way around? The new case doesnt bolt on

I always put the bushing in the linkage, then used channel-locks or vise grips to squeeze it together. You could soak in in hot water to soften it.

Felt stupid for even asking. That's exactly what I did. All the linkages ive delt with bolted to the case arm or spline. Add fluids and skid plate and I'm back to having 4 wheel drive.
