Roland you must be going to the wrong shop. We very seldom do over the estimate by$30 If we do we will call before doing the work. Half of our customers have been doing business with us so long that they just want it fixed they don't ask for or want an estimate they know we will treat them right.
I have a couple customers that tip me everytime that there in. They are good customers anyway. In fact if any of the customers should tip its not them. The customers that are a pain in the rear should tip, they are the kind that if you paid them to work on there stuff they would still think it...
In kansas its about 100 degrees out and static charge[pressure without it running] is between 95 and 110. It should be close to the outside temp. If it is close then look at low side pressure while its running. If it has a plugged orfice tube it will go to vacuum or fairly low. It sounds like to...
Hey flowmasters aren't the best for diesels in my opinion. I would go with a straight through muffler. If you like quiet use a magnaflow if you like noise use a glass pack
Darrin Tosh what do you have for rims and what are looking for out of them. I was hoping to wait for winter but just blew one of the old tires today. Now I debating just putting new tires on the stock rims or buying used alums.

Wow What is the matter with people? The cars left at our shops parking lot all got vandalized this weekend. A guy took a screwdriver and broke the windshields out of the customers cars. The only good thing is he got caught in the act.
A quick test is to unhook the vacuum line from the booster, vacuumshould hold it to your finger at an idle. Boosters going out will usually make a hissing sound before they quit, leaking input shaft seal.
Ok I read the 130 amp alt install by Mr. Roboto. I think I will be doing this as soon as possible, mostly because I live in town. I do get a couple 30 mile one way trips in a week but mostly start it go a few miles and shut off. My thinking is with the larger alt my batteries will recharge...
A common leak is the fuel hose from the steel line to the fuel pump. I have seen the steel lines where they come out of the tank get pinholes. Seen a few leaking filters.
I'm from the middle of kansas. The rattle can idea will be implemented as I build my tail gate out of square tubing and horse shoes. I will probably use a few when i cut out my rusted rear cabrocker panel out and replace it[supercab].
Where does a guy get used or cheap aluminum rims, and chrome or stainless bumpers. I have my 89 f-250. The chrome bumper is rusted through. I will be needing tires this fall so I was trying to find used aluminums to clean up or just cheap but good. This is a budget project, as newlyweds and...
