    When the cables break the flipper drops below the star wheel and no longer keeps the star wheel from turning.road vibration and pressure will cause it to turn in backing the brakes off.this is a very common problem with the fords.whoever came up with this design shoulda been fired.

    They're perfect.only thing I can come up with Is the ID of the drums is too large.when adjusting you spread the bottom of the shoes to touch the drum.stepping on the brakes spreads the top of the shoes wich in turn pulls on the adjuster cable adjusting the brakes tighter.

    I got a 94 f150 with no horn.gotta be the same as 250/350.have no power to the horns.this truck has an airbag and clock spring.from what I understand its a ground from the column to a relay or something somewhere that flips it to power.where is this relay or whatever makes it work?

    Id say its possible but the ebrake isnt used and itll tighten itself up to the point of smoking within half mile after putting it together or backing the brakes off.

    Not hard at all as long as the bolts aren't rusted into the spring bushings.just had one that I had to drill out.if the bolts turn it should only take about 1/2 hour a side.

    honesty if youre not planning on performance mods run the 95 motor if if runs good.only big issue with it is if you plan on upgrading to the 17° hpop.wich I have an easy fix for if needed.save the 99 for a spare (not that you need one) or stuff it into a 2wd.
