    rear lift options?

    Air bags would work good, as long as you get the system leak free you could just set em and check every time you check tire pressure. Blocks wouldn't be a bad way to go either; these trucks take about 2000 pounds in the bed to actually ride half-way decent.

    I had the same experience with my slave cylinder. It would fall off about every other day. Drilled a hole through the clip and through the aluminum behind it, then ran a self tapping screw into to it to hold her all in place. That was 4 years ago; been fine ever since.

    I used to build race motors, and have probably installed over 100 sets of ARP head studs on various engines. Not trying to say I know more than anyone else here, this is just my experience with them. We always ran a tap through all of the bolt holes in the block, including the head bolt...

    Pretty sure I'm going to end up buying a 84 F250 with 6.9/4 speed. Truck is rough but runs good; I'll probably part it out and use the engine for my truck. I'm curious at what point the 6.9's switched from having the pressed in piston squirters, and which blocks were prone to cracking around...

    CCSB only existed in 96-97 (and newer). There used to be a member here (Yotee?) who had what you describe. ECLB frame with a crew cab. The wheel bases are not the same; IIRC the bed was a short bed that was extended something like 4" to fit.

    7.3 idi pulling 10k lbs for the first time!

    I tow a 5er on a fairly regular basis. I'm at about 17,500 gcvw. Before the turbo it wouldn't pull 3rd gear up a 6% grade, which meant 2nd gear at about 25 mph. I put on a turbo, and switched to bigger tires (from 33" to 35") at the same time, and now it will pull 3rd gear at about 50-55mph up...

    That's what I've been remembering. I think I'll just dismantle the up pipe and turbo, take the whole thing to an exhaust shop.

    Now I have the OBS hydroboost pedal!

    I used the pedal out of an 89 SD; swaps right into to the bullnose pedal assembly. These were both manual pedal assemblies, but I would imagine the autos interchange as well.

    When doing calculations, keep in mind the ACTUAL tire size. My 35" BFG's are actually 34" The military 37's are actually somewhere around 35 1/2" So the difference between the 2 isn't as much as it seems. Edit: looks like Bob beat me to it

    35's, 4.10 gears, tow about the same amount of weight (5er). I think this is a really good compromise. Geared a little low for towing, a little high for cruising down the freeway. 37" tires with 4.10 gears works out to be almost the same as 3.55 gears and stock size tires.

    Hydro conversion using parts out of a Bricknose F-superduty on a bullnose truck was an afternoon job. That being said, it has nothing to do with your parking brake.

    Mine worked fine but the buttons did nothing; took the cover off of it and ran a little chunk of sandpaper in the contacts - now it works perfect.

    You need: Booster Pushrod (some of the new boosters don't come with one) 1 pressure line from power steering pump to booster 1 pressure line from booster to steering box 1 return line (mine's just 3/8" fuel line) reservoir for back of power steering pump (with spots for 2 return lines)...
