delivery valve in pump is what I found on mine years ago. it sits behind the vane pump in the nose cone of the injection pump. fairly easy to get to you can do it on the truck but you have to work across the rad and junk. yeppers - I'm a changed man.... after having the cummins my "I need more power fix" has been cured... when it comes to my IDI's I now keep them as stock as possible and just enjoy the sweet sound of a V8 diesel clattering away under the hood. Michael, Keep an eye on the tailpipe when towing or hard accel, if you start to see a trail of smoke - don't stay in her for very long at all. I will say get a pyro but that said I don't have one and don't have any plans on adding one but I don't tow with E3 and won't be - she is and will be...- argve

Another starting issue
open up more than one injector. I have found that some pumps if you drain them of fuel they will be hard to purge the air out of them. but typically if you open up say four injectors it will pump the air out. Mine is a bear to purge the air out of. I have to open up at least three and then crank...- argve

Batteries keep dying
you have something in the truck that is "stuck on". quickest way to find it is to use a clamp on style DC Amp meter and start tracing down which wire(s) are pulling current with the key in your pocket. Engine oil disappeared to nowhere overnight????
Tons of things can be done to the 460 you can really hog out the bores some years (can't remember at the moment) then they will pass everything but a gas station. I know the early 460's you could bore and stroke to over 500 cubes.- argve

Moving to states-different diesel laws in Michigan?
I think MI is the same as Indiana in if you can pay the tax, title and plate fees they really don't care past that. well the oil had to go some where and you mention that it's got oil in the coolant so I would suspect that it's pushing the oil across into the cooling system. So until then I would not drive the truck. I would suspect the heads or head gasket.- argve

Ok it seems the knob for the control on the wipers has gotten broken. When I got in the truck the other day and went to turn on the wipers it just spun. the inside is broken. I need a replacement. So let me know who has one that they are wanting to get rid of.... it's the same as the knob for...- argve

On your version of the engine the oil pressure gauge gets it's information from a SWITCH that turns on at 7psi or it should in stock form so if it's moving the needle around then connection is loose or not up to par or someone has actually swapped it over to a SENDER.
