    Macrobb, you raise a good point, my c350 is lifed and on 37" tires, so basically a 3.55 with stock gears. Still do the e4od/gv swap though. Only thing better is a zf5 (imo, but my e4od is giving no problems... yet).

    I say do the e4od/gv swap. The gv goes on the vack of the tcase anyway. Not likely you would use double OD very often, but you could possibly regear to 4.56/4.88 and make that thing a rocket ! Rebuilding an e4od isnt that difficult. Ive rebuilt 7? So far. The update parts make these things...

    Would 2 psi really make that much a difference? 4000 ft elevation is 12.7 psi, just about where reno is. I know in the sierra nevadas that thing was trying to blow itself up how high i was spinning it! Fun times.
