    Best combo for compound

Got shaved Pistons? See what the PSD guys are running and go one step smaller. An H2E is a solid upgrade for a single charger on them, so maybe something around an s466 for a more modern turbo. The he351 is from a 5.9? Right? And might be a little on the small side, as the Cummins guys can use...

Timing. Check it out. If it was running fine and now like crap it sounds like late timing.

    Question on Dana 60s

Sky manufacturing has swap kits for just about everything, except brick/bull nose to super duty springs. I would get some parabolic springs in there (stock d60 looking) to bring the truck back to a known ride height. My brother did the same swap, used the softest super duty springs and a pmf...

    Injectables?

I'd stay away from propane injection. Even in stock trim, our injection pumps can push more than enough fuel. Nitrous oxide is great because it kicks off oxygen molecules for more air. Compressed air is awesome because it gets really cold and dense. Water injection creates steam and has an...

6.4 Liter front bumper retrofit on 1993 F350

There's a couple companies that sell the retrofit brackets. Overkill Fab sells an example. My brother did one on his truck. Big tires make it look WAY better

    E350 rearend

Is it a D60 or D70? Either way they will have a D60 ring gear of 9.75". Or do a 99+ sterling swap and get them re-drilled for 8-6.5

    E350 rearend

It shouldn't be too hard. Just line everything up 4 times before you weld

    PTO install discussion

Pto winches and hydraulic winches I think are rated at their capacity as the MINIMUM. I hear the m715 guys doing all sortsa dumb stuff with their winches(pto drive shaft) If hydro, you got it easy. Grab a Saginaw and plumb it! I know it would be slow, but hey it's easier than a driveshaft...

Anyone have any history with these springs?

As with all OEM/Stock replacement springs, these are made to exacting standards so the ride/load bearing quality is very similar. If you go to FOA or King shock's website they list lb/in ratings for their springs, to change the characteristics on certain one-off applications like KOH cars or...

    Seeking taller final gear ratio

Personally I would like to see you do 37" tires on the thing. My centurion has 4.10 and 37's, that thing is a monster getting rolling! Lift it! It's the equivalent to 3.55 and standard size tires... Just sexier. Front axle swap to a standard rotation axle, like the Dodge, for more gear sets...

    Zerex G-05

So the zerex g-05 has a higher amount of nitrites, among other addative packages that work great for diesels. I say run it.

    Seeking taller final gear ratio

You can retrofit an e4od, or swap to a Dodge Dana 61, I think that will give you up to a 3.08 gear ratio

    Bud Wheels Dana 50

I don't see why you can't... But added leverage on the beam mount.

    F350 to f250

Rockwell swap. Done, and get to roll 54" tires. Ok you got some options. Leaf sprung d60 from another f350 Coil spring d60 swap from a 2005+ truck Swap to the d50? The frame mounts are there, just need the brackets. Leaf sprung super duty d50/60 I recommend a reverse shackle swap and...

    6.9 Jeep Swap

Do a body swap if you can! There was an M715 on 4wheeler? That some dude slapped the body on an f350 chassis. Kept the zf5 and all.

    302 to 7.3idi swap

Sky manufacturing does an f150 take retrofit kit. Pretty nifty! If you find the coil buckets from an 05+ super duty, they bolt in and you can have a coil d60

    E4OD Heater Hose

So it's even more of a moot point? Ford was doing work on the Arctic condition diesels back in the day! It's been 2 years or so since I drove the rig, most of it was in San Diego, so I didn't think the TQ unlocks at cruise to warm it up. Good info!

    E4OD Heater Hose

Nothing will happen if you delete or keep the hose. It helps with cold starts to get the fluid hotter quicker. Got it. The idea behind it is the lack of a self-warming feature of the idi controlled e4od. Psd trucks unlock the torque converter until it reaches operating temp. Easy to code if...

Who's seen one of these GEM's

My c350 has centered wheel wells... You are correct. It's like a 1/8" plate steel floor all the way back after the bronco "hump" in the cab. Perfect for a futon! No rear anchor for the bronco seat either. Custom garbage rear bench from I think a Ford van.

Who's seen one of these GEM's

Yo, I wish!! I should have brought it. I need something to do on the weekends. It's somewhere in northern Nevada right now

Who's seen one of these GEM's

I got one. And I love it! Needs a lot of tlc, but the uniqueness of them really get the heads scratching what it is.

    King pin kit

4wd factory has your solution for the Dana 60. The guys even made a super hard 7/8 hex key for just the kingpins! Hope you got a torch and a cutoff wheel.

    Another Turbo Thread: A/R .60

The CHRA is very moddable since Garrett likes to use the same cartridge for their ENTIRE line of turbos (t3, t4, t6, etc.) The turbine wheel, while outdated, still does its job of spinning the compressor. You'll choke the engine at the upper room and yes, cause the exhaust to back up, more or...

    Another Turbo Thread: A/R .60

A/r should be relevant to the turbine wheel, so a .6 a/r on a 62mm turbine would be a different inlet size than a .89 housing for my te06h(banks sidewinder). All in all it should spool decently and give you a safe amount of boost well throughout the power band. Might wanna watch your egt's in...
