    Nope, as pictured it won't work. If you want a series connection for 24, everything will be 24 volts, unless you do wiring for a battery just for the winch.

    Don't trust those numbers. If you have an a/c issue, you need to know the numbers while it is running, high and low. Do things the correct way or don't bother.

    Fuel injected cars will cut off fuel supply when the throttle is closed, but only above a certain rpm. Unless you can duplicate that, killing fuel is a bad idea.

    I don't even see why anyone would run retreads on a light duty truck. If you drive so much that tread wears out so fast that you are no worried about the age of the carcass, the cost of tires really should not be an issue.

    I follow the philosophy of all or nothing. Its not worth your time to buy tools if you don't plan on doing all future repairs yourself and have the space. Also, this job will likely only be done once as it doubtful you will still have or use the truck by the time this all wears out again...

    One thing to remember is that a vehicle is only required to pass the emissions testing it was rated for when new. Like anyone, many people, even those that should know, often don't. I have had to correct people for simple inspection testing. But like all testing, there is a way around it...

    What kind of mileage do you put on your truck?

    Mine is also a driveway queen most of the time. I drive it once a month at least just to put miles on it, but it tows my race car about 4-5k miles a year. Its getting a new paint job this year. I'll post pics when it is done.
