    I’m deep in a wormhole now trying to determine if I should do the conversion or spend the coin on the replacement DMF…. Any persuasive comments or thoughts would be appreciated. I’ve heard some about sticking with the DMF and others say just do the conversion and call it a day,…… but the growling.

    Got a question for ya. How do I know the correct pilot and throwout for that kit? Is it just the ones that fit the truck or is it specific to the perfection clutch kit? The timken bearings are on Rock auto too I was just going to buy them all together and one stop shop?

    I just added some ATF directly into the filter and cranked to to circulate. I’ll let it sit overnight and top off the tank with fresh diesel and more Kleen. Thanks again for the assistance I’ll check back with how it goes.

    I went ahead and popped the filter off and filled it with DieselKleen let it soak for an hour or so and cranked it seems to have made a difference so far. The PO was driving this truck daily about a month or so ago then said it developed a miss or stutter so i may just need to replace the pump...

    I like that idea a lot did you use that just to make sure you filled the entire injection pump? or almost like an IV fuel line treatment with it running I just wanna make sure. I know there are mechanic shops that will do an actual treatment similar to what you’re talking about.

    My thoughts were to try and isolate the pump with an overnight bath and if it ran ok for even a day after the soak I’d replace it knowing I spent $$$ wisely.
