    What he said. Don't get me wrong I dont mind being able to let off the clutch from a dead stop in 5th and start moving lol. But especially living in Texas where everywhere you go is on the freeway, its a pain sometimes. BTW wes, shoot me a text or call sometime man!

    Currently I don't tow reeeeally heavy too often. But when I do, the 4.56 really pulls! The rest of the time it just drains my fuel and makes it take longer to get places on the freeway lol. At 70mph I'm looking at like 2500-2600rpm. If you've already got a tow rig I wouldnt gear your F350 THAT...

    I check mine both just for curiosity lol. I check it cold, and 10-15minutes after shutting her down.

    Slightly off topic... But I saw a 4L60 once with gear oil in it. It literally destroyed the ENTIRE transmission. Proper fluid is vital for tranny functionality and life span.

    What kind of gear oil are you guys running

    I used mobil1 synthetic 80W-90 when I did my front and rear. I would have preferred amsoil or redline but I'm not towing any super heavy currently. Just trailer with building materials.
