WMO centrifuge system finally up and running!

Looks like a couple of good sealers. I'll keep them in mind. I use Permatex #2 a lot on pipe connections. It was the recommended pipe sealer on my CLEAN BURN waste oil heater install. https://www.permatex.com/products/gasketing/gasket-sealants/permatex-form-a-gasket-no-2-sealant/

WMO centrifuge system finally up and running!

I've never seen that before. It says good with steam applications, so I would assume use with the heated oil would be OK.

    Diego Revisited

A lot of people do like them. On my rigs, the less shiny metal the better. I'm just not a shiny kind of guy.

I never liked those panels. Except for the holes they leave in the tailgate. I'd pull them off both of my trucks. I have seen some aftermarket blacked out panels that I would consider in there place.

Diesel craft centrifuges in mobile setup

Nice hot tub. I'm using the PA BIODIESEL Ultimate Force Centrifuge. I run about two gallons an hour heated to 160 degrees F. It seems to do pretty well. I haven't seen a set up like yours. It would be good to see some pictures when it's up and running.

    Anyone in the Market?

I think he'll get it. The price they're getting for new rigs, that's a bargain. Would I pay that much? I'm not sure, mostly because I'm always looking for that elusive bargain.

For as long as it sat I'm surprised the whole truck is as nice as it is.

I'm back in the IDI game!

Looks suspiciously original. On the brighter side, the bearing doesn't look too bad considering its age.

Ex Wife- my LONG term build

Your new truck looks really nice. I didn't realize drop bumpers were a thing of the past. Id sell the one on my dually in a heartbeat if it was in better shape. I like drop bumpers about as much as the wheel simulators I sold. I'm not into bling (chrome)

I don't think you can get the factory simulators anymore. I sold a nice set on craigslist about a year ago. They went pretty quick.

    Anyone in the Market?

The first year for a factory Powerstroke was mid-1994. The truck in my avatar is a 94.5 Powerstroke. My 93 IDIT has been down for over a year awaiting an engine overhaul. Once the engine is overhauled the Powerstroke will be gone. Maybe someone swapped a Powerstroke into the 93?

Trouble with Raylan: low oil pressure and massive blow by.

The most telling will be the compression test. it's probably the least intrusive as well.

Trouble with Raylan: low oil pressure and massive blow by.

The parts prices seem high to me. A lot of the things listed wouldn't be needed for a stock rebuild.

    Swap cab or swap motor?

I don't know if you made a decision yet or not, I vote for a cab swap.

I don't want to know who it is. I'm glad they did the right thing. Now on to successful engine assembly.

I'm back in the IDI game!

I'm sorry to hear and see your troubles. I hope at least there are some usable parts to do an acceptable rebuild. In my experience, it's best to stay away from rebuilds from unknown sources. Some of the things I've seen through the years are pretty scary.
