    @Detroit80 Though there are times when I wish my F350 had the windshield that could be cracked open at the bottom like cars and trucks up through the 40s could do.... Where there's a will(and a welder) there's a way!!

    Punched a doe tag with my wifes little car on the way to work. So she had to come save me in the idi. Gotta say that bull nose pulling up with my purty wife at the wheel makes my day every time.

    Found a Dana 60 with the right gears! Question- are the 3 leaf packs preferred for the swap? Have heard to stay away from the ttb springs and am looking to order correct springs.

    Just pullstarted one of our deuce and a half corn trucks. She did not like it much! Could feel her ass pucker, the frame flexed and my clutch smoked a little breaking it out. Made me proud of her tho!

    Well it looks like im going to wrench on a ttb. I wanted to just swap a solid axle and rebuild the sas, but my normal wear tire is starting to wear again and I spent too much on them to just let it get ground down! The only thing I know about these axles is they eat tires and junk them asap...

    Hauled the welder up the canyon to hang a gate. Little bit of off-road little bit of welding, was good times.

    Not today couple days ago, hauled the saws in to clear some riverbottom behind the track ho. Even with stock size tires she gets me around just fine.

    A possible additional concern is replacing auxiliaries. Just did the power steering pump on my 85 and pulling the pulley and installing was already tight. Not sure id thats a concern for you just one thats occurred to me.

    Finished installing 01 or 02 super duty seats this evening. Super comfy definitely sit up higher. Several of the seats are nasty and wouldn't clean up so I've got a couple of blankets to use for seat covers. Makes the Truck way More comfortable.

    My 85s the same way except for completely separate AC controls. Before it quit I could literally run AC and heat on high at the same time. If you find a part number for the under dash fan motor let me know:Thumbs Up

    Getting by with one battery in summer?

    I've ran my 85 on a single battery (850 cca) during the ut winter before. Never had a problem with manual glows and a fresh return line. Last December after it had sat wrecked a couple months I jumped in just to see if it'd start after months of sitting during sub zero temps and she fired right up.

    The spring eye bushing doesn't fit in the shackle eye, or rather i got it to partially fit but it wont compress enough to fit in the hanger. I may just take a bfh and try to make the shackle fit into the hanger. I dont think I can remove the bushing from the shackle eye without ruining it anyways
