    air lock in cooling system?

In the t'stat neck there is a check ball, that ball must move freely, shake the neck and it should rattle, make sure the small hole in the t'stat gasket is open. That ball passage is open to the radiator to expel block air and any air around the t'stat until coolant hits it, then it will seal...

    Power steering cooler thought

When bikemaker used the radiator for cooling his PS fluid, did he open up the trans. radiator input fitting ? The input fitting hole size is very small, it's designed like an orifice to maintain the trans pump PSI., doubling the hole size is equal to four times the original flow. The PS return...

Looking for input on an idea...

That is a loaded question about batteries. All batteries are rated in Amp Hrs A-H. Lead acid batteries should not be discharged below 20% of there capacity, re-charging below that % causes heat, that reduces the life. As far as using an Inverter to provide 120 VAC, you will find even the...

    7.3 build

That sounds about right on your boost PSI. Boost is contingent on, the size of the turbo, down pipe size (3"), exhaust pipe size (3"), leaks in the turbo pipe input, the engine load plus RPM. There is updates on compressor wheels depending on what Brand turbo you have.

Sorry about that, but I just a week ago scrapped out a whole bunch of those tees. Had them for the Kelsy-Hayes controllers when I was in the RV service business. Maybe an RV service or store might have one.

Need advice with my 1992 F250 7.3 IDI

Where are you at in Ohio? I'm in Delphos OH, 15 miles West of Lima To clean the injector bore threads, use a 12 Ga. shotgun brush preferably the brass brush, any dirt will collect in the precup, use a shop vac in the injector hole, blow air in the GP hole, the vac will suck all/any dirt out...

    Brake controller install help

What was referred to above is NOT a TEE TAP. A TEE TAP kind of clamps on the wire you want to splice into and the wire you want to connect to it uses a spade terminal and connects into the TEE TAP. There is 3 or 4 sizes of TEE TAPS for different wire gauges, Brown, Yellow and Blue.

Is it possible to warm up ac?

I'm surely not a HVAC expert. But if he can't adjust the temp control on the dash and it's set at MAX (he said the Knob is stripped), the compressor is not going to cycle ON/OFF. At the MAX setting there is no temp control. I would say, if the gas (low side) is still not expanding (frost on the...
