    What else do you drive?

Edit...photofukit is messing with me... I just did one of those non-traditional vehicles week before last. I bought a 2006 Yamaha Bruin 350 4WD for $250, no wheels or tires, bad carb and had been sitting out in the rain for an undisclosed amount of time. It was pretty rough but the engine...

    What else do you drive?

My IDI's are the ones rarely used. My daily is a 2003 Yukon XL Denali, the wife's is a 2015 Z71 CCSB. For heavy towing I use the 2003 2500 HD RCLB. The 1990 F350 IDI RC Utility Bed is the water hauler and the 1994 F350 IDI CCLB is just a toy. Every vehicle is a 4wd except the Yukon which is AWD.

    Motorized single DIN lcd stereo?

I have no idea on AM reception, the FM works fine. My wife listens to AM talk radio, but she streams it from her phone.

    Motorized single DIN lcd stereo?

Yes, you can leave the screen in or out for most functions but with limited functionality and the remote isn't great, but it works.

    Motorized single DIN lcd stereo?

The only complaint I have is the weak amplifier, I have not added an amp yet but the truck is used mostly around the farm, I did this unit for the backup camera.

    Motorized single DIN lcd stereo?

I think I have the box still, give me a minute.

    Motorized single DIN lcd stereo?

I am using a cheapo Dual unit from Walmart, I think it was $147. Overall I am happy with it, it hasn't had any issues but you will want an amp to power the speakers, the built in one is very weak. The install was easy and yes you can pull it out a little so the screen doesn't hit the dash pad...

    Project Saburai

You are very well preserved. I will be 55 this year and I wish I had a tenth of Wes's exuberance, knowledge and skill. I am glad to see you buy that truck, drive it down to our part of the world and get dirty with it. My hat's off to you.

Can't find the "chirp" in my 7.3...

I have not had that problem, yet. I went with the FlowKooler water pump and always try go OEM with other parts, if I can.

Can't find the "chirp" in my 7.3...

I chased a squeak for a while, replaced belt, pullies and tensioners and it ended up being the water pump. I am glad I replaced the tensioner, it was not in good shape. I never mind replacing parts that are sure to need it in the near future.

Buying a IDI Turbo. What do I look for?

The bed and fuel transfer tank make it worth the price. You need to remember this is a 24 year old work truck, things will need attention, things will break. If you are able to repair or replace things, these trucks are a bargain. If you do not have a place or the ability to fix it yourself...

What's your favorite method for degreasing an IDI?

I used Fast 505 and and a garden hose pinhole nozzle the first time, it got a lot off. The second time I used the Fast 505 and my pressure washer and did the undercarriage as well. The Fast 505 is caustic but works better than anything else I have used in my short life. I had some spots under...

255/85/16 Mud Terrains on mine. Bumper has been adjusted since pic was taken, still needs a little adjustment.

Which Dimensions inverter is it? I have a large one that I have never hooked up, it will power a 1-1/2 HP pump.

    HE351VE Remote Mount Turbo

Same problem, but I am the woosie, after my back surgery I cannot take a beating any more. This was my solution... 2003 Yukon XL Denali, extreme comfort.

    2018 Texas IDI Meet

I don't think my CCLB on 34's would like some of these trails, probably break something.

There is an off road area at Hidden Falls. I have not been there, even though it is only a short drive.

    2018 Texas IDI Meet

Hidden Falls is a great choice, and we would be able to block off a section so everyone could be together.

    Antarctic IDI Build

No hurry here, the truck is still on the back burner. We are shoping for a 2001-2006 Yukon XL Denali for road trips. When I find one I am sure it will need some attention before I do anything else.
