    IDI sinister Coolant filter

I know this is a little old, but thought I would share this since pre-charged filters came up. This little tidbit was packaged in my wix 24071 filter I bought for my setup.

Your feedback on this Vendor/ Diesel shop !

While we're on injectors/pump combos-Hey pelky, had a chance to run a Dyno? Or does the truck do any real work? I'm very strongly considering your setup and am curious about usability, reliability, common hard work egts......and certainly get up and go....any real comments as far as stock vs...

I just noticed your t boot on the wire loom. Now that's what I call a clean install. They didn't even take it that far at the factory. Very cool Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Got a 94 4x4 F250 that has been sitting for about 8 months

I'm inclined to agree. Just ordered a "motorcraft" (it was at least in the right box) water pump the other day and it looked Chinese. The instructions even said marine water pump. Last truck got an AutoZone that was fine till I sold the truck. The "motorcraft" came with two bolts and flat...

    Project Big Red

I guess I've missed those discussions. Maybe I was thinking 16 because that's what all the trucks I have had came with, Guess that's what I get for assuming..... Well I'll definitely have to ditch the 19lb cap my new mishimoto radiator came with... Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Perhaps more of us should try this?

Take a look at fleetgaurd lf9027. Same size, but it's a Venturi combo filter. Built in bypass filtration on a full flow main filter. No need to run a separate setup. Little more expensive, but cool nonetheless. I run its big brother the 9691 on my power stroke. It's a little too big for the...

2017 Oilburners Rally... Louisville or Nashville... VOTE NOW!!!

Such a shame. I live less than 10 minutes from that camp ground in Nashville and would have been loving that. Now I gotta drive three hours......oh well maybe next year. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

got a super duty frame and an IDI??? engine mount pic requests

I'm on board any time free is in the mix and something is being improved. So I guess that would answer powerplant question as well. Although the extra oomph of a power stroke sure would help exceed that 60 mph limit. That super duty chassis is a lot heavier as well, so that makes an idi even...

got a super duty frame and an IDI??? engine mount pic requests

So I take it the reason for the 99 frame is because you had it "laying around" haha....that's the only reason I could justify not going 05 up chassis with the obs body. So much better overall. But the leaf sprung super duty is still better than a leaf sprung obs Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

6.9, have you had a chance to tow at any sort of speed yet? I saw the pic but figured that probably never crested 45 mph, or did it? If you have what did you think? Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

92 Ford F350, 7.3 IDI, with Banks turbo; BRAKE issues.

Yea it does. And you'll hafta enlarge your factory master cylinder bolt holes if you don't go super duty 1 5/16.pressure line naturally falls exactly where it should. You'll actually need two lines, one from pump to unit then uint to steering gearbox Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

You said you took the manifold out of the picture right? Well darn, I was going to say check the pressure equalizer down on the wheel liner, could be dumping your vacuum...... Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    Cold air intake

Nothing wrong with pvc, people ask me all the time where I bought my snorkel from and I say home depot. My intentions had zero to do with increased performance, but the colder/half way forced air did make enough difference to offset some of the funky bends the new routing made.I felt no...
