Looks like the plug the fuseable Link connects to was shorted causeing the problem.everythings been fine with it jumped around so it's safe to say it ain't the pump which I'm really happy about lol

welded an bondoed the visor holes up and put some hot batteries in it an guess what no misfire. I guess havin a bad altenater really will cause a miss. So now I gotta change the altenater

Fuseable link didn't blow the wire between it an the plug burnt so we bypassed the plug an ran from the fuseable link to the pump

Alright so as of right now it's working fine.we ran a wire straight from the fuseable link to the pump it's self and bypassed were it was burning out between it an the plug.ill keep y'all updated on if it does it agian or not

Another thought after you change the filter check out the selector switch. Had to replace mine twice I think now and that's how it acted. You could jump around it so it pulls off one tank for awhile and see if that fixes it

Have you changed your fuel filter? Mine was full and wouldn't let me get enough fuel so I couldn't ever see my caps leaking till I put a new filter on which fixed the surge
