I'd really like these trucks to go to someone in our community.
As said before, if you think that I'm out of line on pricing, make me an offer. I can & will deliver any of them.
"Package deal?" All of the IDI's + the 2003 F150 Lariat (different post) for $9000?
I can't take all of them with me...
I'm moving soon. As a result I have to "thin the herd". I'll listen to reasonable offers if you think I'm off on the prices.
I can deliver any of them.

I bought the truck couple of years ago. I’ve never had it on the road.
When I bought it, the PO had removed...
With all due respect:
There many, many threads regarding timing these engines (not motors) within this forum.
If you have trouble with your search (after you have tried to search) nearly any member will be glad to help you.
Can you verify that the CDR is working as scheduled? (search forum for CDR problems)
If it's plugged up it can cause crankcase pressure issues ... hope that's it.
I need to shed some iron. Most of the trucks in my signature are going up for sale.
First is my only gasser.
I really like the truck but it needs to go.
The Good:
*Clear Blue Title in my name
*Runs and Drives Perfectly- dealer maintained since 2003 - all records available
**All factory...
Shop manuals .. ebay for around $150 for the whole set or about $30 on CD.
Money well spent, in my opinion.
I have a couple of IH engine manuals for my bullnose trucks and the full set from Ford ... I use them every week.
The only time I've had one do me that way the timing was way off.
Is it possible that the pump worked loose ... got your timing off? Maybe wasn't tightened when it was serviced last.
Just a thought.
Keep at it ... you'll figure it out
I'd change the oil and filter #1.
Then probably add some additive (find your favorite flavor) to the fuel #2 ... maybe change the fuel filter too, up to you.
#3 ... I'd crank it for about 20 seconds at a time (few min to cool between cycles) until I saw exhaust smoke
Go from there.
If it's the fusible link....I've replaced it on every truck. I use these:
It's a 40 amp fuse ... comes with comes with 8 gauge (I believe) pig tales about 6" long ... about $11 at O'Reilly. ((EDIT: Part # MAH1 Line: (Lit) made by Littlefuse)) I also disable that stupid heater on every truck...
Welcome to the forum.
I'm fighting the same battle on a '93 IDIT.
In order to isolate the problem, I ordered (Amazon) a few fuel rated check valves (5/16" and 3/8") and an additional return line kit (for spare parts like your T connector).
Smell what I'm cookin'?
Good luck.
Do yourself a favor: disable the glow plugs before you use ether (starting fluid).
I have limited OBS and/or 7.3 experience ... someone will chime in to inform you on the most efficient way to do this on your truck (if you don't already know).
I'm pretty sure that "fuel oil" and "boiler oil" are closer to jet fuel than Diesel ... I'd probably try it ... I'd also cut it with about 60% Diesel fuel + Lucas Oil.
What could possibly go wrong? -Flame Thr
