    Fuel tank decision.

Ok, so im just going to leave the front tank out and do the valve. Do the fuel line ports for the front tank on the FSV need to be capped? Or do I not even need to run the fuel lines into the valve, just leave it on the frame and plug in the harness??

    Fuel tank decision.

AQUOTE="IDIBRONCO, post: 1061613, member: 13857"]You will if you leave the FSV on the tank you want to use and then bypass it. I've been running this way for over 4 years now with no issues. I do miss the extra fuel capacity though. Sorry i didn't quite understand. If I run the lines with no...

    Fuel tank decision.

Haven't posted in a while, truck has been running great lol. Till I decided to go on a fishing trip and my FSV valve failed and no fuel. I replace the FSV about three years ago and have inline pre-filters before the valve and it still failed. Dropped the front tank and found it to be all types...

So I have my box in and steering hooked up. Everything is in original alignment and now I can't seem to get the linkage back on the arm. Any suggestions? It's very close to being on. Can I turn my wheel?

    Steering box?

I have to drive the truck all this weekend, nothing crazy tho. Got the box and pump waiting for me at the parts store come Monday. Any torque specs I need?? I'm pretty confident that the problem is the box after doing research.

    Steering box?

Today while driving my steering wheel became hard to turn the wheel to the right but fine to the left. After doing some reading I hear that this is my steering box dying. Is this correct? where should I turn for a replacement? And what to know about replacing this.

    that guilty feeling.....

Kinda know how ya feel, I've owned three idi now. Here is the newest one I got , a buddy of mine gave it to me for hauling a tractor for him. F350 think it's a 87 not even sure if it's a 7.3 or 6.9 yet lol. Don't know what to do with it yet but like the others it will most likely be stripped...

    Quick glow plug question.

I work as a security guard and during my 12hr shift I start my truck multiple times a day. The truck is warmed up the whole time, can I start my truck right away before the " wait to start" light goes out? Or is this a detrimental practice?

    Front "rumble" with hubs locked

I thought I had front end problems at one point, bad noise. Here it turned out to be my carrier bearing. Noises and vibration sometimes seem like there coming from one area, better to check all over.
