    I'm not sure what the shim is, i can take a better picture when the snow melts and i pressure wash everything off. The steering stabilizer is a must, i am actually replacing mine becuase i'm getting a slight bounce in my steering when i hit bumps.

    I have air bags In the rear and air shocks in the front of of 96 f350 dually psd. I setup a compressor and auto regulator to control all 4 and it has smoothed out the stiff suspension noticable when driving on rough roads.

    I used it an I didn't have any issues. Yeah they were a little tight around the two intake bolts and the one was close to the turbo but I put 11k miles on it with no issues. Mine stayed tight, never came loose. I'll be using them again when I replace the glow plugs on the 1990 I picked up.

    Small coolant leak when block heater is in use.

    Mine was my upper radiator hose where it connected to the thermostat housing. I removed and wire wheeled the housing, still leaked, so i put two hose clamps on it and it never leaked again. It followed the water pump/timing cover down and would drip from the oil pan or lower radiator hose.

    When coolant leaks down into radiator and the cap seals air tight you get essentially a bladder tank. As the coolant expands it generates pressure maybe 1 to 2psi but the air absorbs it rather than expanding in the closed system and overflowing into the tank at cap pressure. I bet it leaks...

    The IDIT engines have externally balanced flywheels, that should be all that matters. I just pulled an engine from my fatory turbo truck that turned out to be a non turbo block engine someone swapped in at some point. So I'd double check the casting number behind vacuum pump by IP gear cover.

    Fuelly is the best site to determine actual fuel mileage. I never got better than like 16mpg with my 1993 f350 crew cab long bed dually turbo. Lifetime average of 14.6. I drove it ever day fill both tanks every time all new injectors, turbo, up pies, intercooler, injeciton pump etc...

    I'll check my wiring over, if i cant find anything, how do i disconnect it? Can i just pull the bulb or will that prevent the alternator from charging? I heard something about the OBS truck needing the airbag bulb to charge or something weird. Haha i will of course be putting in real gauges shortly.

    Oh yeah I realized that very quickly lol. But even with it out I was a pain getting it all to clear. I recommend a helper to help push it around to clear things.
