They are definitely from r&d as is the cam (should have been one tooth off) and the intake. I'll try to find my receipt for them. They were never installed or test fitted.

    Horrible air intusion while running.

I've also had these pull air from the metal line leaving the fuel sender at the tank. Right at the bend.

    AC - 134a conversion questions...

R134 had a molecular weight of 102.03 R12s molecular weight is 120.9 84% of 44oz would be 37 ounces or r134 in the same space. Though the 134 condenser is larger so I would think it would take a litttle more than that.

    AC - 134a conversion questions...

Compressor is the same style and from what I remember the lines were the same other than the fittings (I used a conversion kit). The condenser was bigger. The pressure switch was different and dryer looked the same to me I converted my 93 to 134 with a new compressor (old one was dead) new...

How does the RABS valve work?

My last truck had it bypassed and as a dually with a 2500lb bed it never once locked the rear wheels up. The fronts I had locked up a couple times.

They are called fuel olives and you can purchase a kit from Autozone that has them. Carodone 2k-203. Or you can find them individually somewhere but I forget the size. Cardone 2K-203 Diesel Installation Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001PH5TP8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_ZmBpzbH4ZGN46

How does the RABS valve work?

I just completely rebuilt mine about 2-3k ago and had the rear brakes acting up the past few days. I suspected the rabs but went under to check the rear shoes and found I could see the adjuster cable off on the driver side. Sure enough I removed drum (16 lugs since I have wheel adapters on a...

How does the RABS valve work?

I found this article. Says the ring gear speed sensor. Not sure how true it is but I don't see how you can rely on average rear wheel speed to determine if the rear wheels are locking you without a front wheel speed reference. http://www.aa1car.com/library/abs_kelseyhayes_rwal.htm

How does the RABS valve work?

i know it's a rear antilock brake system but how does it work? I don't believe there is a leveling sensor for rear loading like a proportioning valve that changes pressure based on bed height/load. Does it run off of the ring gear sensor speed sensor for the obs trucks to detect lock up? I...

Can't you use a balljoint press and not even have to remove them? That's how I did the trailing arms, well I air hammered them out and pressed the new ones in with a balljoint press.

I have air bags on the rear of my 4wd van and chassis dually 55miles of driving so far today and bump steer is completely gone after replacing my track bar. The small thud when turning into parking spots is gone too and the truck was pull ever so slightly to the right when stopping despite...

How do the teeth look? Maybe they are intermittently getting stuck on because of an issue with the ignition?

    Absolutely hate starters

I've never had good luck with Autozone or advanced auto starters. I've never had to replace a Napa new one though. I'd think they'd get the starters the same place but maybe I'm just getting lucky. I've had issues with db electrical starters too

    Need brain(storming)

I have new tires, Monroe shocks, new red head gear box, alignment I personally checked (on lift and lowering on ground prying and turning wheel) everything for play and had the truck shop do it when they did the alignment. I'm still getting feathering inside of ko2 tires, I dropped pressure from...

I just ordered a track bar because I've been having a slight bump steer issue. I can move mine when under the truck so I suspect it.
