    This is what I did, ran about 25 psi air pressure through the glow plug hole. Suggest wearing eye protection as the grit/crud you clean off will blow back up at you while cleaning the injector bore.

    I've found some from the factory are glued on, not screwed on. Maybe depends on year. My 93 was glued together, no place for screws, the molded bosses are not even there to add screws.

    IMHO it is worth adding a turbo. 175k miles isn't bad for a 7.3 IDI that has been taken care of. Even a mild turbo setup will help a lot at 5,000 ft elevation, you won't notice a loss in power, and it will smoke less then it does now (unless you turn the IP way up). Cost will vary widely...

    I've had DMV check the VIN on the frame eventhough the one on the dash is easy to read, they said "the official one is in the frame". May want to see what your juristictiin does. It may be possible to track down the previous owner and get the title signed over too.

    So the latest project was front bearings. Right front was making some noise, pulled it apart sure enough outer bearing was starting to make metal. My fault, waited too long to repack bearings, it was dry on grease. The race and bearing had a nice "gold" color to them... so got a little warm...
